Rotom Group’s leading pooling services companies, 2Return and Poolback, specialized in sustainable load carrier solutions across Europe, are seeking a General Manager to drive their growth. In this role, you will take full responsibility for leading the innovative pooling services of both companies across Europe, managing your own Profit and Loss while fostering an entrepreneurial spirit within a larger organization. You'll have the opportunity to operate on an international scale and contribute significantly to sustainability initiatives.

To succeed in this position, you will be expected to lead strategically, drive sales, and ensure operational excellence across multiple teams and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for 2Return and Poolback, aligned with Rotom Europe’s mission.
• Develop innovative growth plans that support sustainability.
• Identify emerging market trends and opportunities to enhance customer offerings.

Sales Excellence

• Develop strategic partnerships with senior executives of customers and shareholders.
• Lead complex negotiations and secure high-value contracts.
• Translate customer needs into impactful logistics solutions.

Operational Excellence

• Lead and inspire operational teams in the Netherlands and Spain.
• Ensure high operational standards across depot networks and transport agreements.
• Implement large-scale reverse supply chain projects.

Based at the 2Return HQ in Best (The Netherlands), you will manage a team of 8 colleagues and oversee the Poolback team of 14 based in Parla (Spain), along with the pooling service sales team.

Your ability to take a strategic approach, coupled with your consultative selling skills, will be essential in driving both companies forward, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring lasting client satisfaction. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills, combined with a talent for managing complex projects, will be key to your success in this role.

Who are we looking for?

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a senior logistic management role or asset management services (in industries such as construction, packaging, chemicals, transport & distribution, or food & beverage);
• Proven success in consultative selling and lead management;
• Experience in developing and managing teams;
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Management, Supply Chain, or a related field;
• Proficiency in English and Dutch (additional language skills like German and Spanish are highly valued);
• Willingness to travel frequently within Europe (Benelux, DACH, Iberia), to engage with clients, network partners and key vendors.
